The Joli outdoor armchair, like all of Osier Belle's wicker outdoor furniture, is made with PET, environmentally friendly synthetic Rehau and Viro wickers. This material is high quality and comes from two of the most reputable suppliers in the world. The wicker we use is made for extreme endurance and has been tried and tested to withstand the harsh Australian climate. With traditional rattan outdoor furniture, organic materials were used such as banana leaves. These look great but don’t last permanently outdoors due to absorbing water and breaking down quickly. That’s why we use a synthetic material instead. It won’t absorb moisture and is less prone to any cracking or splitting and is guaranteed to outlast its generous 5-year warranty.

This natural richness in oils ensures that our teak remains naturally replenished, prolonging it from drying out or developing major cracks after minimal use, which can be common issues with other wood inferior types.
100% solution dyed acrylic fabrics are the best quality fabrics for outdoor furniture created from trusted brands like Sunbrella and Agora. These fabrics are machine washable, high quality, resistant to shrinkage and especially made to repel water, mould, mildew and are fade resistant. The fabrics are beautiful to the touch and come in a wide range of colours and patterns. There are other fabrics available in the market, such as Olefin or Polyester Blends but we would not recommend using these as they are not a durable long term option.
