Our Walter Outdoor Armchair, as with all Osier Belle furniture, is designed to be outdoors all year round. Our Sunbrella and Agora fabrics are 100% solution dyed acrylic which means they are very durable as well as being water and fade resistant. Osier Belle does offer SHIELD which is an added 100% waterproofing protection for your fabrics which is a membrane that sits almost undetectable underneath the fabric. 100% solution dyed acrylic fabrics are the best quality fabrics for outdoor furniture created from trusted brands like Sunbrella and Agora. These fabrics are machine washable, high quality, resistant to shrinkage and especially made to repel water, mould, mildew and are fade resistant. The fabrics are beautiful to the touch and come in a wide range of colours and patterns. There are other fabrics available in the market, such as Olefin or Polyester Blends but we would not recommend using these as they are not a durable long term option.
Yes you can certainly wash Osier Belle’s outdoor furniture cushions. Our products are intentionally crafted to be user-friendly when it comes to cleaning and require minimal maintenance. However, it's natural for items left outside throughout the year to require a periodic refresh. All cushions are suitable for machine washing, making it convenient to give them a refreshing clean every now and again. Covers can be placed on a standard wash cycle, just avoid putting in the dryer or ironing. Alternatively, you can spot clean covers with water or a light fabric cleaner such as Sunbrella's 303 spot cleaner which is available to purchase at the showroom.
