In Australia’s harsh climate, durable outdoor furniture is made from a good quality wicker (global leaders being Rehau and Viro – both used by Osier Belle). These brands create their material using a PET synthetic fibre that is environmentally friendly and has changed the reputation for wicker performing outdoors. Woven and used correctly, this material will last a lifetime. Alternatively, a sustainably sourced teak will stand the test of time as its natural oils that resist moisture, pests and decay. However, design and manufacturing also play a role in the longevity of teak furniture.

Wherever possible, our furniture designs are crafted by hand as a single, solid piece as this ensures optimal resilience and strength. Occasionally, due to your space, customisation or other factors there may be a requirement to make an order in sections.
However, as part of our white glove service, you will never be required to assemble your furniture yourself. Instead, your furniture will be skilfully put together by our team upon delivery and left ready to enjoy.
