We seal our concrete tables so they can be used and enjoyed for many years. We have tested various products, such as red wine and Tabasco sauce, so we can provide you with proven recommendations.
Vinegar-based products should be removed IMMEDIATELY as the acid works quickly through the sealant. As with anything, if something is spilled, it should be removed as soon as possible with warm water, a mild detergent, and a cloth.
If you find a stain that has not been removed and has been left for over 4 hours, we recommend you use a bleach solution directly onto the area for a couple of minutes, then remove it with a sponge.
Please note, after cleaning, light stains generally soak into the concrete as it is porous and will varnish over time. If you apply a harsher cleaning method, this may remove the sealant, affecting future protection, so we do not recommend it.
