The Osier Belle Outdoor Meditation Pod is an outdoor egg chair on a generous scale. The fully enclosed wicker shell wraps around the occupant on three sides, creating a private, shaded retreat within any garden, terrace or pool setting. Available on a solid teak base or hanging and fully customisable in wicker colour and cushion fabric.
An outdoor egg chair is one of those pieces that changes how a garden feels to spend time in. The Osier Belle Outdoor Meditation Pod takes that idea seriously. The enclosed wicker shell is large enough to settle into properly, the teak base gives the piece a grounded, stable presence, and the cushioning is made to the same standard as every other product in the Osier Belle range.
The structure is solid with no assembly required, hand-woven in Viro synthetic wicker from Germany. UV-resistant, weatherproof and built to hold its colour and form through years of outdoor use. The teak base is A Grade teak from Jepara, treated at the factory with Cutek for long-term protection against moisture and UV. The cushions are made in Sunbrella or Agora outdoor fabric using Urecel Quick Dry Foam, so they can remain outdoors in all weather without damage. Back cushions are made in the same fabric as the seat, with the option to upgrade to the 3Beaches or Mokum scatter cushion range. Covers are fully removable and machine washable with YKK zipped closure.

Can You Wash Outdoor Cushions?
Yes, you can certainly wash Osier Belle’s outdoor furniture cushions. Our products are intentionally crafted to be user-friendly when it comes to cleaning and require minimal maintenance. However, it’s natural for items left outside throughout the year to require a periodic refresh. All cushions are suitable for machine washing, making it convenient to give them a refreshing clean every now and again. Covers can be placed on a standard wash cycle, just avoid putting in the dryer or ironing. Alternatively, you can spot clean covers with water or a fabric cleaner.

What Is The Best Outdoor Fabric?
100% solution-dyed acrylic fabrics are the best quality fabrics for outdoor furniture created by trusted brands like Sunbrella and Agora. These fabrics are machine washable, high quality, resistant to shrinkage and especially made to repel water, mould, mildew and are fade resistant. The fabrics are beautiful to the touch and come in a wide range of colours and patterns. There are other fabrics available in the market, such as Olefin or Polyester Blends but we would not recommend using these as they are not a durable long-term option.
What Is Outdoor Wicker Furniture Made Of?
Osier Belle outdoor furniture is made with PET, environmentally friendly synthetic Rehau and Viro wickers. This material is high quality and comes from two of the most reputable suppliers in the world. The wicker we use is made for extreme endurance and has been tried and tested to withstand the harsh Australian climate. With traditional rattan outdoor furniture, organic materials were used such as banana leaves. These look great but don’t last permanently outdoors due to absorbing water and breaking down quickly. That’s why we use a synthetic material instead. It won’t absorb moisture and is less prone to any cracking or splitting and is guaranteed to outlast its generous 5-year warranty.

Yes, we provide a 5-year warranty which includes a zero-fade guarantee on all Sunbrella and Agora outdoor fabrics. Even if out of warranty, we always endeavour to do our very best to assist clients. We can ensure your furniture will last for years to come and way beyond its warranty.
