This material is high quality, and high endurance and has been tried and tested to withstand the harsh Australian climate. Organic materials such as banana leaves were used with traditional rattan outdoor furniture. This looks great but doesn’t last outdoors due to absorbing water and breaking down. That’s why we use a synthetic material instead. It won’t absorb moisture and is less prone to any cracking or splitting. Our team of expert artisans perfectly craft a solid frame and then meticulously hand-weave the wicker, and because we make all of our own furniture, we have ultimate control over quality.
